1. This poem is faithful to the original poem because it pretty much sticks to the storyline. The students are repeating math facts to their teacher and a bird flies into the classroom, causing an interruption and eventually distracting all the students. Then the in the end the walls fall down and the students are floating freely.
2. The video is original by bringing the poem up to date. The animations are current and attractive. The video allows the reader to have a mental picture of what is going on in the classroom in the poem.
3. This video shows that Prevert's poem is timeless and universal. The message he is conveying relates to everyone. (i.e. french, english, italian) I think everyone can remember memorizing math facts and repeating back to the teacher just waiting for an interruption to happen or atleast i can.

1.I think the clip was was a fun interpretation of the poem. It definitely stuck to the storyline of the original. It shows the children in class having a math lesson when one child becomes distracted by a bird. This distraction takes on the whole class and ruins the teacher's lesson.
2.The video uses modern technology to portray this poem. The digital characters make it fun and colorful without loosing the original content of the poem.
3. The video shows how all children have a creative mind. The children the clip use their imaginations to escape from the boring routine of the classroom. This idea translates to all cultures all over the world.

1. I see it as just a visual representation of the written version. It pretty much goes along with the poem. I actually enjoy it more because it is easier to understand.
2. The video brings the poem to life, it enhances your imagination of the poem and gives you more of an appreciation of the poem because of the plot played out in front of your eyes, you understand the simplicity and meaning behind the poem better.
3. The importance of any literary work especially is the ability to relate to an audience, I would say any student that reads this poem can relate to it in that everyone had to memorize math problems when we were younger. That in itself states that the poem has universal appeal and will be around for a very long time.

1. This poem is faithful to the original one because it stays on point as to what the original was about: children are sitting in class reciting their additions tables when a bird comes in and distracts them and brings them out of boredom.

2. The video is original because it uses animation technology to bring the poem to life. It lets the poem 'breathe' so to speak.

3. The video shows us that Prevert's poem transcends time. Anyone can easily relate to it. I'm sure most people can remember sitting in a classroom reciting vocabulary lists, times tables, and the like, all the while suffering through boredom.

1. It is faithful to the poem because it follows the plot line rather closely as it shows math being learned. Not only do they learn math but the bird comes in for the freedom of the students. The end of the poem makes all things back to the way the were in the beginning.
2. The video is original because it is in obvious Italian. It is also in cartoon form and the trees the children ride off on are bushes not trees. The whole end of the poem is not detailed in this video.
3. The importance of knowing how to add is truly captured. The child like tone to the poem is in the video.

1. The video pretty much stays true to the message of the poem. It shows the monotony of the math lesson and the boredom of the students very well. And it also does a great job of capturing the sense of fun and freedom that the bird brought to the kids.

2. Well first of all, it is in Italian and that's pretty original. Also, the artistic and visual representation of the characters of the poem is very original.

3. I think that the biggest compliment that any piece of literature to receive is that of being translated into different languages. Once literature crosses cultural and country lines, and overcomes language barriers, it is safe to say that it is relevant. The video just shows how relevant and important the poem is to not only French people but also to people from other nations.

1. The video is definitely faithful to the original poem because it is a great visual of what the poem would look like. The greatest part about it is how the children react when they see the bird flying around the classroom, and the teacher’s reaction towards it all.
2. To me this video is very original because it communicates the message very well regardless of it being in Italian. I think that it's great that we heard this poem in another Latin language like Italian.
3. I believe that the importance of Pervert’s poem is the activeness and chaos of the classroom in Elementary all around the world and this video shows a great reflection of it all.

1. I think that the cartoon represents the poem very well. In the video, the children are repeating the math facts and then they are distracted by the bird. The walls fall and the children float around in the sky symbolizing freedom and imagination.

2. The anamation is not in classic cartoon style, it is in a more computerized style.

3. It illustrates how Prevert implies that children will always have an imagination.

1. This poem goes hand in hand with the original poem. I didn't notice any differences in the video to the poem. The creator did a great job of keeping the original storyline.
2. The video is original in the fact that it was kept simple but yet still interesting. The animations were high quality and it keeps the attention of the viewer.
3. This video shows that no matter what language the story is told, it remains the same. Language is not a boundary for this story and children all across the world can enjoy it.

1. The video is faithful because it follows Prevert's events and descriptions.
2. However they did use a lot of artistic license when depicting the bird and the trees "bubbles" coming out of the desks.
3. They reflect the importance of the poem through the emphasis of the "boring" lesson and the wildness of the children's imagination.
